Luisa Oliveira is a landscape designer specializing in urban gardens. She holds a Masters degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a history degree from Boston College. She is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects and the Boston Society of Landscape Architects and has practiced in both public and private landscape architecture offices for over nine years. She comes from a family of farmers from northern Portugal and loves the beauty and serenity that growing plants and being outside brings to people. She has worked as a volunteer in rural Africa, teaches landscape architecture, and has been volunteering on landscape architecture projects in New Orleans for the past five years.
